Russell Gray being inducted as a member on Thursday 6th December. Russell is a deputy headmaster at Aberdeen Grammar School and has lived in Westhill for 20+ years and is married to Sheila, also a teacher, and has 2 sons.

We will have completed our current run of Casino nights on Saturday after the Stena Dinner at the AECC. Our Charity Account has increased by approx £1300.00. A rota of around 12 Rotarians have been travelling around Scotland dicing with punters to increase various external charities coffers as well as our own. All agree it is a sociable way of raising funds though our 'brownie points' bank accounts are running very low!

The annual home workers/retired executives Christmas Lunch and Hostelry Tour is on Tuesday 18th December meeting in the Westhill Hotel at 11.30 noon for 12.30 at Yates's Fine Wine Bar, Aberdeen! Any Rotarian can join the august group as it is not an exclusive outing.

The Westhill team is through to the next round of the Gavel Competition, our opposition is yet to be announced.
